4.8.2.2.2 Annotation 3D Geometry

The 'Annotation 3D Geometry' is used, when the representation of the annotation does includes surfaces and is not restricted to two-dimensional representation items.

The following attribute values for the IfcShapeRepresentation holding this geometric representation shall be used:

• IfcShapeRepresentation.RepresentationIdentifier : 'Annotation'
• IfcShapeRepresentation.RepresentationType : 'GeometricSet'
• IfcShapeRepresentation.Items :
  • subtypes of IfcPoint and IfcCurve being three-dimensional and within an IfcGeometricSet
  • subtypes of IfcSurface being three-dimensional and within an IfcGeometricSet
